There was one who once said crazy things like, give your possessions to the poor, let your light shine, go to the ends of the earth, love God, love your neighbor, serve, pray, die and live. Those words, the words of Jesus, have gripped and shaped our lives.

Because of Jesus’ life, challenge and love we are propelled into an amazing life journey; a journey that most often finds us pitching our tent among the poor and those on the margins of our world, serving, living, teaching, learning and loving there.

Welcome Home Baby Elias

We made it home a couple of weeks ago and the transition home has gone well. Baby & momma are both doing fine and nathan has made the transition like a champ.

We've had several hands around to help us with the newest addition. Felicia Graham and her daughters Julese & Brianna were here for a while, then lisa's mom Jeanne joined us. My mom, Dyonne and my cousin Tory arrived yesterday. It's been great having our family and friends around to celebrate this homecoming.

Oh Wow! Congratulations! Lisa has been very much missed at the girl's study group on Tuesday nights. I wanted to extend my joy with you in the birth of Elias! He is so cute and tiny! As a single mother of two it is amazing how while admitting I'm a little stressed- I still easily see a baby like this and immediately want another one. So precious! Much love to you both!
