There was one who once said crazy things like, give your possessions to the poor, let your light shine, go to the ends of the earth, love God, love your neighbor, serve, pray, die and live. Those words, the words of Jesus, have gripped and shaped our lives.

Because of Jesus’ life, challenge and love we are propelled into an amazing life journey; a journey that most often finds us pitching our tent among the poor and those on the margins of our world, serving, living, teaching, learning and loving there.

Pray for Abuela

Lisa's grandmother on her dad's side, her Abuela, needs your prayers.  Over the past couple of weeks her health has begun to take a turn for the worst.  First it was a fall, then surgery, a nasty bacteria and now she's in the hospital in ICU.  Lisa left with Elias this morning to join her family in Miami, to encourage and pray.  


Please join with us in praying for Abuela (her name is Carmen) and also for Lisa's Papi (Benito).  This is a very difficult time.  Pray for healing and a peace that does, in fact, pass all understanding.

Be Encouraged- Carmen is on the prayer list! I know three people who have committed to pray for her recovery. We love you Lisa- when you hurt, we hurt. ... And soon you will rejoice, and we will rejoice with you! Much Love! :)
